Singapore writer to open Goa Art & Lit Fest on 4 Dec
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 01 December 2014 22:01 ISTThe fifth edition of four-day Goa Arts & Literary Festival (GALF 2014) will be inaugurated by Prof. Edwin Thumboo, Professorial Fellow of National University of Singapore on 4 December.
The key note address would be jointly delivered by two internationally acclaimed Goans – architect Charles Correa and fashion designer Wendell Rodricks.
GALF 2014 is organised by The International Centre Goa in association with Goa goernment’s Directorate of Art & Culture, the National Book Trust and Goa Writers’ Group.
Shripad Naik, union minister for AYUSH, would be the guest of honour.
The official GALF 2014 poster exclusively designed by eminent Goan artist Dr. Subodh Kerkar will also be unveiled during the programme.
The inaugural function will be followed by an exclusive book launch of Mahabaleshwar Sail's Konkani Novel “Aranyakand: Forest Saga” translated in English by Vidya Pai.
