Why the FC Goa ruling could be a spanner in Indian football's growth

 

Little more than five months on from a nerve-wracking final of the Hero Indian Super League's second season, that saw Chennaiyin FC crowned champions in the most dramatic of fashions, Indian football is still suffering from its after effects.

Sadly though, it is not the breathtaking football on show that day which is making the headlines, but something that followed the game, leaving a bad taste in the mouth of Indian football fans since.
