What pains Chennaiyin FC if Dempo is VP of AIFF?

 

Chennaiyin FC, reigning Indian Super League champions, on Monday raised the issue of conflict of interest against FC Goa co-owner Srinivas Dempo and asked the All India Football Federation (AIFF) to take action against him.

Dempo also holds the position of vice-president in the AIFF.

What a joke this Indian football has become. Owners of the competing teams themselves become administrators and association officials. Aren't there enough competent people in a country of 1Billion to manage the associations. If Dempo wants to be the vice president then he should resign and sell his stocks from the clubs he owns.

No wonder Indian football is languishing at the rock bottom for the ages now.
