Few mega industries may shut units in Goa: GCCI

 

Industry body Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) today warned that few mega industries in the state are contemplating to shut down their units.

GCCI had earlier pointed out to the unhealthy environment for industrial growth in the state, claiming in the last couple of years, a large number of industrial units have closed down. CLICK TO READ MORE

If this develops in reality then Goans will be happy. Very happy. Goa has many world class Pharma companies which produce around 20% of total Pharma produce of India. This generates revenue for state, centre as also a few Goans n people from other Indian states. But those who argue why on our land will be very happy if all these units bid good bye to Goa.
