Uday Prakash to present literary awards


Goans will have an opportunity to listen to eminent Hindi writer Uday Prakash at Kala Academy on Friday.

He has been invited to present prestigious literary awards of Kala Academy on 26 July at 6.30 pm.

Prakash is a Hindi poet, scholar, journalist, translator and short story writer from India.

He has worked as administrator, editor, researcher, and TV director.

He also writes for major dailies and periodicals as a free-lance writer

The recepients of literary awards of 2011 are Neelba Khandekar for his Konkani poetry collection ‘Dandakarnaya’ and Dr Anuja Joshi for her poetry collection ‘Utsav’.
