Police arrest couple running web-sex racket

An Indian man and his Kyrgyz wife were today arrested for allegedly running a prostitution racket in the state through a website, police said.
Calanagute police arrested Alim Ulah (31), a Rajasthan native living in Goa and his wife, Valentina Shol (29) a Kyrgyz national, who ran the prostitution racket.
The couple used to provide escort services for the tourists visiting the state, they added.
During the raid that was conducted today, two Indian girls were rescued, police said adding that two persons, one each from Delhi and Bangalore, were arrested.
Police inspector Nolasco Raposo said that girls were being supplied to majority of the five-star hotels.
Ulah and his wife had a website, through which, they were accepting the bookings.
The website had even published details of the girls.
"We were tracking this racket for some time now. Finally, we managed to arrest them by sending decoys," Raposo said.
Police have seized American dollars and Euros, collectively worth Rs 6.8 lakh from the possession of the couple.
Ex Congress MLA Ravi Naik once stated, there were no drugs in Goa.
We now see Drug "busts" very often.
I wonder if Ravi Naik was "talking to himself".... to save his & his son Roy`s skin.?

Well done Pi Nolasco Raposo.Since being re-instated in Calangute Police Station,you have cleaned out more vice & vice dens, than the previous PI.
We now hear & read , either daily or weekly of various arrests.This indicates that Calangute is infested with criminal activity.
This also shows or indicates that Ravi Naik and the previous MLA Agnelo Fernandes were possibly working in cahoots , and in tandem,with various criminals.
Goans home and abroad would like to thank you for clearing all the criminlas and criminal garbage from Calangute.
The place is slowly becoming safer and cleaner.
Goans also hope, that in due course the criminal Congress MLA`s ,will be brought to trial & jailed for their crimes against GOANS.
This is only the tip of the iceberg!
If only the local law enforcement was professional and effective all this years, such nuisance would not have existed. Of course, the law enforcement is always in cohort with the politicians of the day.
