GCCI Chairman Manguirish Pai Raikar said that investment scenario in Goa was almost dead due to negligence by the former state government led by Digambar Kamat. Last year the scenario was bleak with no investment coming in Goa, Raikar said.
The conference is to be held in the backdrop of recent announcement made by chief minister Manohar Parrikar in the budget assuring quick clearance of files related to investment.
The companies from IT, ITES, pharma, light engineering services among others will be participating in the event, Raikar added.
