Hold on, CM tells Alemaos

Chief Minister Digambar Kamat today said he had asked Alemao brothers, who resigned from the cabinet this evening, to wait for a while and discuss their grievance with the Congress High Command.
Public Works Department Minister Churchill Alemao had earlier said that he and his and his brother, Urban Development Minister Joaquim Alemao, had sent in their resignations from the cabinet this afternoon.
This followed disqualification of Churchill's daughter, Valanka, for the coming Goa Youth Congress elections by the Youth Congress's election authority.
"They had come to me in the afternoon. They were upset over disqualification of Valanka. They were thinking of resignation but I told them that issue should be taken up at the appropriate forum," Kamat told PTI over phone.
The Chief Minister said he was yet to receive written resignations.
"They have spoken to the high command and have conveyed their sentiments," he added.
Churchill Alemao had alleged Valanka was disqualified from contesting on flimsy grounds, and Congress had done injustice to her.
She was disqualified for allegedly trying to influence the voters by misusing her father's position while canvassing for Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Committee polls scheduled for July 26 and 27.
Valanka, Churchill's younger daughter, is also an aspirant for ticket in the next Assembly polls.

The Monarchy form India was discarded and democratic system was adopted. We did not want the Kings to rule the Land as they were often seen misusing the power and exploiting the masses. Some had become arrogant and corrupt and had forgotten their duty of serving the people or protecting them. Some had taken to a life full of lust and luxury and ha become indifferent to the suffering of their citizens.
After accepting democracy we see similar trends, similar type of dynasty rule , similar type of exploitation of the masses, similar type of abuse of power, similar type of collecting wealth through exploitation , and similar type of arrogance and often making them forget of their duty of serving the society but instead use it as an opportunity to collect wealth for next ten generations.... ,Will the Democracy become Monarchy in the years to come...?
Any form of government is good government, be it monarchy (benevolent or malevolent), dictatorship (where everyone on tentacles), communism (the core group is bad) and others, but in democracy of the present form, everyone who wields whatever opportunity of power, is out to loot. Disastrous consequences for the future do await us, if no effort is made to curb this malady.
