Centre examining separate IAS, IPS cadre for Goa

A proposal to create separate cadre of all India services--IAS, IPS and IFoS-- for Goa is under examination of the government, Rajya Sabha was informed today.

There was a communication from the Goa government in 2011 proposing for creation of separate cadre of all India services -- Indian Administrative Service ( IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Forest Service (IFoS)-- for Goa, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, Jitendra Singh said.
