Trinamul picks up Sameer, Raut, Savio & Bandu

Dr Wilfred de Souza’s imported outfit Trinamul Congress picket up few influential rejects to filed as his candidates.
It included Sameer Salgaoncar in Mandrem, Savio Coutinho in Margao, Pandurang Raut in Bicholim, Bandu Desai in Valpoi and Imtiaz Sayyad in Ponda.
In addition, Dr Willy would also contest from Aldona.
He had earlier declared that he would not take a single candidate rejected by other parties, especially the Congress.
However, most of his candidates include former Congressmen, including Sameer, Savio and Bandu.
Raut was the senior vice president of the NCP.
TMC is expected to announce some more candidates, it is learnt.
