Don't book cylinders, get cooking gas pipe soon

Goans may very soon get cooking gas through a pipeline and would be relieved from the hassles of booking and getting the LPG cylinder in time.
“The CNG pipeline has already reached Goa and we would start the service shortly”, chief minister Manohar Parrikar told the Assembly today.
The issue regarding hardships people have to face while booking the cooking LPG cylinders was raised by Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte.
Civil supplies minister Dayanand Mandrekar however said the state government has no powers to act against the LPG dealers if they do not provide proper service.
“It is a matter of central government, we can at the most report to them what is happening here”, he explained his difficulty.
He also turned down his request to appoint more dealers stating that the dealers are appointed by the oil companies and not the government.
Khaunte had in fact pointed out the difficulties faced by aged people having no mobile phones.
The booking is done on phone, which is sometimes not picked up by the dealer and the confirmation through SMS does not reach the people, who have no mobile phone.
what about no water with so many pipes...??
