Police probing into Israeli drug dealer's 'front'

Goa police is investigating into an import-export firm operated by notorious Israeli drug dealer Dudu, arrested yesterday, which hardly had any turnover. The firm is being run in the state over a decade.
Dudu was arrested on wee hours of Tuesday by the sleuths of anti narcotic cell, who found drugs worth Rs 3.8 lakh in his possession.
According to Superintendent of police (anti narcotic cell) Veenu Bansal, Dudu alias David Grihas was possessing 144 ecstasy tablets weighing 55 gram worth Rs 1.10 lakh, heroin powder weighing 5 gram worth Rs 15,000, 6.5 grams of cocaine worth Rs 30,000, 7.30 grams liquid LSD worth Rs 1.10 lakh and 1.165 grams charas worth Rs 1,15,500.
Bansal has claimed the arrest is a `big catch'. Dudu, an Israeli national, was on business visa to Goa.
"We were preparing his file since long and we had noticed that many drug dealers were visiting his house at Anjuna," the SP said.
Bansal said that the company registered as Dudu Division Import and Export Private Limited was hardly making any business in the state. It was being operated from Anjuna beach village, where Dudu was staying.
The company has two locals as its directors, who will also be questioned by the police.
A senior police officer stated that the company registered profit of only Rs 32,000, that too way back in 2005.
Goa police have already sealed bank account operated by Dudu while thorough investigations in the matters related to his import export firm are being made.
A senior ANC source stated that the investigations are being done to verify whether he was using this firm as a front to run his narcotics trade spread across India.
Dudu was arrested by Mumbai ANC Unit in 2008 in a drug raid in Maharashtra.
Why has the Goa Police arrested that Dudu? He is clearly stating that Police was his supplier. What wrong has Dudu done?
