14 BJP MLAs are against Parsekar: Sudin
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 13 December 2016 14:13 ISTMaharashtrawadi Gomantak Party leader Sudin Dhawalikar, who was dropped from the cabinet last night along with his younger brother, has dropped a first bombshell on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.
“14 BJP MLAs had come to me, complaining against chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar’s leadership. I have recorded the conversation, will reveal their names at a right time”, he told a group of media persons today morning.
The BJP has total 21 MLAs in the 40-member House.
The decision of dropping from the cabinet, he claims, was expected and he is feeling relaxed after getting dropped.
He also claims that they wanted to desperately get out of the government but were stuck inside only to retain the alliance.
“This would allow us to go to the people and tell them that we didn’t compromise for power when no development has taken place since Parsekar has taken over”, said senior Dhawalikar.
He however said the alliance would continue till election is announced.
Claiming that the central leadership including the RSS is aware of the state of affairs in Goa, he still hopes that something fruitful may emerge to keep the alliance intact.
Regarding getting aligned with the RSS-supported Goa Suraksha Manch, Sudin said no decision in this regard would be taken unless the whole central committee sits and discusses all the pros and cons.
In fact the MGP supremo says they have already finalised their candidates and election committees in 22 constituencies while eight more are in the list.
“We may import people from other parties in rare circumstances only if the candidate is capable”, he said.
Bundle of contradictions. Party hungry for power and money, 14 MLAs be ready for a blackmail.
BJP should stay away from these Brothers Karamazov, the gangsters. If no development ever took place, what were you doing all these while, you got voice come the elections? and you think people will believe the crap?
