Cong/NCP communalise beef shortage

The issue of animal slaughter is getting communalised with no enough quantity of beef available in the market while the high court is expected to deliver its judgment tomorrow.
The opposition Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party have jumped the guns at the BJP government, alleging that it is a conspiracy against the minorities.
While most of the beef traders belong to the Muslim community, the beef eating local population largely belongs to Muslims and Christians.
“May be people from majority community also eat beef, but not so openly and widely like us”, says Trajano D’Mello, chief spokesperson of the NCP.
He has alleged that the BJP has conspired with the Govansh Suraksha Samiti, who has sought a stay from the high court on animal slaughter by alleging illegalities.
“Petitioner Hanumant Parab is the secretary of BJP’s Poriem constituency Mandal”, points out D’Mello.
At a separate press conference, Congress legislator Aleixo Reginald Lourenco termed it a ‘BJP petition’.
He even alleged that the Advocate General and the petitioner had connived so that the case is not argued properly before the court.
After staying the animal slaughter at Goa Meat Complex, the only place to get official stock of the beef, the court had later granted relief at the request of the government, but with conditions.
“The court has not allowed importing animals from outside Goa and no animals are available in the state. How will we get the beef in such a condition”, asks Gaush Mohammad Ibrahim Bepari, member of the Kureshi Meat Traders’ Association.
He also points out that the court has not allowed slaughtering around 130 animals available at the GMC.
Meanwhile, the three-member committee appointed by the court has cited several illegalities at the GMC.
“Stop illegalities and make the beef available”, demands Congressman Lourenco.
NCP spokesperson D’Mello however alleges that the illegalities were committed deliberately by the government for last one year, so that they could get the animal slaughter banned through a petition.
D’Mello however could not explain the media in what way the government did not argue the case strongly before the court and in what other manner it could have been argued.
Pratima Coutinho, the Goa Pradesh Youth Congress President, has on the other hand threatened to come on roads if beef supply is not restored immediately.
“The BJP should remember that they are voted to power by the minorities and restore the beef supply”, she demands.
None of them however agreed that they are communalizing the issue when actually beef is stopped due to illegalities at the GMC.
D’Mello in fact argued that only the foreign tourists eat beef in Goa and it is not at all the issue for majority of Indian tourists coming to the state.
This issue does have a communal background.Actual e anti beef eating culprits are the followers of the Dr. Pa ppu Jayant Athavale's cult Sanatan Saunstha (SS) and Hindu Janajagruti is an offshoot of SS ( like the SS of Hitler that believed in Aryan race supremacy).
They are the ones who interpret Hinduism as per their convenience and commercial benefits through which they have made ashrams and other assets ; and turn egalitarian and multicultural Hinduism into Hindutva that stands for supremacy of brahminical class in the society. This cult has already declared Athavale as the reincarnation of lord Krishna and he issues fatwas in taliban style from his Ramnathi headquarters.
They praise Savarkar but not his advice on beef eating. Beef eating is widely prevalent among so many Hindus in India .
I personally relish tongue roast, bafad, chilly fry, and cutlets and so do my several 'Hindu' friends not only in Goa but in other parts of India too.
This SS cult is also critical of BJP and RSS at times when their definition of Hinduism is not adhered to.
These are the same guys involved in Margao bomb blasts. After they realized that they are not capable of carrying out dastardly attacks in talibani style ( most of them are school dropouts from moffusil , they have taken a new route of getting at minorities. They derive a sadistic pleasure in witnessing the woes of non Hindius as well as Hindus who according to them are only Hindus by birth ( janma Hindu: their own term).
These type of organizations never ever get the support of majority of Hindus who know the history of brahminical dominance in India. It is high time the rational brahmiins who have understood the history reject them and assimilate with the mainstream society. One must remember such acts are pushing brahmins into further isolation and alienation from others in India and we can't afford it in the 21st century. C'mon guys get out of your medieval thought process.
