Juvenile caught selling charas
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 07 May 2013 18:05 ISTA juvenile was arrested selling Charas behind the library in St Cruz yesterday evening.
The Anti Narcotic Cell of Goa police arrested the boy, aged around 20 years, was caught red handed with 460 grams of charas worth Rs 70,000.
The ANC acted swiftly based on a tip off and positioned them behind the St Cruz football ground, near the library.
They managed to catch the drug peddler yesterday night.
The boy has now been sent to the Apna Ghar.
The raiding party of ANC was headed by PI Suraj Halarnkar, along with PSI Sitakant Nayak and constables Jitendra Kambli, Prakash Polekar, Sahadev Gaude and Sachin Gaonkar.

A “juvenile” means a person who has not completed eighteen years of age.
A boy or girl under eighteen years of age is a “juvenile” according to the Juvenile Justice Act.
If this man is above 18, he cannot be called a juvenile.
