Gurunath Pai joins as PIB Jt Director

Gurunath Pai, a junior administrative grade officer of the Indian Information Service, recently joined as Joint Director of the Press Information Bueau in Panaji.
He will also work as the in-charge of Regional News Unit of Goa Doordarshan.
He has been transferred from PIB, Bangalore.
During his 32 years of service in the Indian Information Service, Pai was the also the Director of Information of Goa Government from 1993 to 1995 and Field Publicity Officer in Goa.
Also he has worked on Doordarshan News in New Delhi from 2007 to 2011 and PRO of Minister of Defence from 2006 to 2007.
He was a member of the delegation accompanying former President of India R Venkatranam during his tour to Zambia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe in June 1989.
