Lifeguard saves Russian boy

The lifeguards in Goa on Friday saved life of a six year old Russian boy, who got almost drowned at Majorda beach in south district, tourism officials stated.
Stas Shepushtanow was holidaying with his parents on the beach and had ventured into the water with his personal surf body board at 11.50 a.m.
"Suddenly a dumping wave washed his surf body board to the share and since he was a non swimmer he panicked and shouted for help," tourism department spokesman said.
Goodluck Naik, a lifeguard attached to Drishti vision, a private agency empowered with beach management in Goa, rushed for the help of victim with rescue tube and brought him on the shore.
Tourism spokesman said that the victim was assessed for injuries and handed over to his parents.
