Everyone knows 'who' is politician's son: Parrikar

Opposition leader Manohar Parrikar today claimed that `everyone in the state knows who is the senior politician involved in drug scam.’
"I have a question nmark on the stand of home minister (Ravi Naik). He should recommend CBI inquiry into the entire allegations. Otherwise needle of suspicion will start pointing towards him," he said.
The BJP leader claimed he is not accusing the home minister of being involved in the drug scam, but his silence leaves a scope for inferences.
"Everyone in Goa knows who is a politician involved in these rackets. The proper investigation will bring out the fact," Parrikar told a press conference today.
BJP leader was reacting to the recent interview of Lucky Farmhouse, girlfriend of Israeli drug dealer Yaniv Benaim alias Atala, in which she had said that `son of a senior politician was often visiting their place.'
Parrikar said: "If a politician is clean, then he should not fear investigation. Persons in public life should be open for investigation," the leader of opposition said.
A Swedish model, Lucky, in an email interview to PTI had narrated how police were squeezing bribes from Atala, providing protection to his narcotic trade.
Lucky had shot confession of her boyfriend on a spy cam and uploaded it on youtube, opening pandora's box. It ultimately got six policemen suspended and five arrested including PI Ashish Shirodkar, for their alleged links with drug peddlers.

All fingers point out towards the corrupt politicians because everybody knows as to how within a short time in power, those corrupt people multiply their assets manyfold! Bigger the budget of the Ministry, bigger is the cut! It is a shame that all this can go on unabated in our country which boasts of rich culture, values and ethics! A part of the voters too is equally responsible for this rot because it is not a secret that they are accustomed of voting in return for the money/favours which they get from those corrupt so called servants of the people! Unless the probity in public life and the honesty are rewarded by the society and the corrupt condemned, this rot will not stop! Even the CBI, IT, Police, Judicial system have to all gear up to punish the corrupt without getting political interference! Is this possible?
Parrikar has said the finger will point out at Ravi Naik, I am sure Parrikar as well as the public grapevine talks about Ravi Naik’s son. Of course if it is Ravi’s son, then the Cops will have no guts to apprehend him or act against him. If police get little evidence tomorrow, will the cops like dysp chandrakant salgaoncar have guts to apprehend the minister’s (Ravi) son? Well the cops themselves are drug dealers then what can one expect from them? At least Parrikar blurts out the truth in these cases, but Ravi will deny the fact. But Mr Manohar Parrikar, please blurt out the name of the concerned minister and show your courage. – Menino (Valpoi)
