Are Covid patients really getting cured in large numbers?

Not only with fresh Covid cases, Government of Goa led by Dr Pramod Sawant seems to be also playing hide and seek with the number of cured patients. In today’s Covid bulletin, there is a discrepancy also over recoveries. Almost 70 percent cured patients are also missing, along with the fresh Covid positive cases.
The usual comparative analysis of two days made by goanews.com reveals this naked truth: Covid bulletin claims that 448 patients were cured today. But in real terms, when figures of cured patients of yesterday were compared with today’s figures at all 33 health centres, we could find only 136 patients being cured.
From where are the remaining 312 patients cured? The official Covid bulletin is mysteriously silent on it.
And as usual, 323 out of 457 fresh Covid positive cases also cannot be traced at the health centres. Only 134 were traced, at 17 centres.

Health Minister Vishwajit Rane last week had assured goanews.com that he would personally look into this and get it rectified. Nothing has been done so far.
goanews.com wonders why this lapse cannot be rectified immediately. Because if we see the Covid bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services, there is ample space between the Centre’s name and the total figure of Covid patients.
DHS can very well add two columns of today’s fresh Covid cases and cured cases in front of each and every health centre.

And it’s well understood that the DHS authorities arrive at the total figure of fresh positive cases as well as cured cases only after calculating the figures gathered from each and every centre.
Still they are kept hidden from the public.
This has raised suspicion if DHS is actually providing correct figures of fresh cases as well as cured cases. They simply don’t tally.
