Goa's Infotech Corp bags national award for e-tendering
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 11 October 2015 11:02 ISTInfo Tech Corporation of Goa Ltd (ITG) of Goa government has won the “Skoch Order of Merit” award at national level.
Goa bagged the award for the successful implementation of the “state wide e-tendering solution with e-payment integration” under the category “e-Governance in Public Procurement”.
The award was received by ITG managing director Nilesh B. Fal Dessai and manager (IT) U S Naik at the 41st Skoch Summit “Transformative Governance” organized by the Skoch Group at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.
Fal Dessai also participated in the round table conference on “Digital Deliverance” during the summit.
Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar and the ITG Chairman Subhash Phaldesai appreciated and congratulated the Officials for the award.
ITG has implemented an end-to-end e-tendering system through the implementing partner M/s. Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (KEONICS), a Government of Karnataka Enterprise & Axis Bank Limited as e-Payment Gateway service provider.
It has been used by all the departments, corporations, autonomous bodies, and government institutions. All the tenders with an estimated cost above Rs. 5 Lakh are floated through the e-tendering solutions from 1 July 2011.
The e-tendering solution is hosted on www.etender.goa.gov.in and www.tenderwizard.com/goa.
