ACB starts assessing Cong MLA Babu's assets

Goa Police’s Anti-Corruption Bureau has decided to rope in a Chartered Accountant (CA) to calculate the total assets of Congress legislator Chandrakant alias Babu Kavlekar.

He is under the scanner for allegedly having disproportionate wealth.

The ACB had earlier booked a case in this regard against Quepem MLA Kavlekar, who is the former Chairman of state-run Industrial Development Corporation (IDC).
