Mumbai's Sanil Stephen drowns at Harvalem

 

Sanil Stephen, a student of Mumbai, drowned at Harvalem waterfalls today while swimming along with his friends.

He is still not traceable.

Stephen had come down to Goa along with around 15.20 friends of Don Bosco Engineering College.

From Calangute, where they stayed, came on North Goa sightseeing tour.

Four of them decided to get into water.

21-year old Stephen suddenly got crams in his leg and started drowning.

Efforts to save him proved futile and he got drifted away with the tide.

Sankhli MLA Pramod Sawant rushed to the spot. He has now asked Navy authorities to conduct a search with helicopter.
