As expected, chief minister Manohar Parrikar allocated one or two minor portfolios to his cabinet colleagues while retaining major responsibilities with himself.
Alina Saldanha is the only minister not being allocated any new portfolio.
Comparatively, a major portfolio of Information and Publicity Parrikar has chosen to allocate to first-time minister Milind Naik, besides Printing and Stationary.
Similarly, ‘independent’ minister Avertano Furtado from Salcete (Navelim) gets comparatively a major portfolio of Rural Development Agency.
