Goa announces Rs 5 L to Mane's family

As the help for the martyr Kundalik Mane’s family is pouring, Goa government has also announced a compensation of Rs five lakh to Mane’s family on Friday.
Kundalik Mane was one of the five Indian soldiers who were killed in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir last week.
Maharashtra government has already announced Rs10 lakh compensation for his family.
The members of parliament and Maharashtra legislative assembly from Kolhapur have offered to donate one month’s salary to Mane’s family.
On Friday, Goa government announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to Mane’s family.
One of Mane’s relative told dna that a team of officials from Goa government visited Mane’s house in Pimpalgaon in Kolhapur district and met his family members.
They have taken details of the the family and later declared the compensation.
Earlier, Goa Speaker Rajendra Arlekar had also visited Mane's family.
