Cong did 'real' development: Rane

Opposition leader Pratapsing Rane has claimed that real development has taken place only during Congress regime.
He even appealed to the people to support the Congress, claiming that most of the novel developmental schemes of people’s welfare have emerged during Congress regime.
He was addressing the gathering during the valedictory function of awareness of rights rally organised by Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Committee at Vividha hall Navelim.
Former Sakhali MLA Pratap Gawas, Girija Naik, GPYC chief Pratima Coutinho, Sudip Tamankar, Ramesh Sinari, ZP member Laxmikant Parab, Laxmi Madgaonkar, Amarnath Panjikar, Janardan Bhandari and Digambar Naik were present on the dais.
Speaking on the occasion, Gawas criticized the BJP for achieving power through the back door.
He also expressed concern over mining ban stating that the ban has brought everything to standstill in Goa.
He also called upon the youth to shoulder the responsibility of Adhar card in order to help poor and deserving people.
Amarnath Panjikar, Janardan Bhandari, Laxmikant Parab, Sudip Tamhankar, Pratima Coutinho, and Himmat Singh also spoke on the occasion.
Digambar Naik proposed a vote of thanks.
From all the accounts available, from all over Goa,The Congress Party in Goa only DEVELOPED their Bank Balances and physical Assets.
The Congress Party has also developed CORRUPTION, to a "Fine Art" form.
Mr Rane likes to paint himself as whiter than white.
But I view him as an extreme & secretive Corrupt.
He may have mellowed with age. He may be articulate with his speeches/ words. But beneath all this, he is still a corrupt man, I feel.
As Barack Obama once quoted in reference to Sarah Palin, an aspiring U.S.A. Presidential candidate;
" A pig with lipstick is still a pig."
Mr Pratapsingh Rane may wish to apply this to himself.
Most Congress developments undertaken in Goa are sub-standard & falling apart.
Many developments are infested with elements of corrupt practices. They stink ,as foul as, the Sulabh toilets in Margao.
All Goans know today how Mining was developed.
The corrupt Ghosts. of the Congress Party still lurk & exist in every Panchayat in Goa Today.
Yes what Rane says is 100 % true...
