BJP Govt strangulating Dabolim: GOD

Goa Only for Dabolim has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party government is strangulating Dabolim air port in connivance with the builders.
At a press conference held today morning, GOD convenor Fr Eremito Rebello said the government is playing double game of pretending to expand Dabolim air port but in reality restricting it from getting expanded further.
He pointed out at the huge amount of construction activity going on around Dabolim air port, especially in the denotified area of land.
The GOD demanded that the denotified land be acquired by the government by paying compensation to the owner, so that the land could be utilised for further expansion of the air port when traffic increases.
Fr Rebello also warned the BJP-led government to take the issue of Dabolim air port in their own hands if government does not resolve it immediately.
“We are not setting any deadline, but we will not hesitate to take it in our hands”, he warned.
The GOD has also claimed that they have come across incriminating documents and other evidence regarding a very vital issue concerning the Dabolim airport.
It relates to imminent loss of vital space for parking and other facilities in the city, said Fr Rebello.
Constructions of mopa airport means welcoming the disaster/clashes of planes during take-off/landing between MOPA/DABOLIM Airports.
