No foul play in Fr Bismarque death, but police will probe in-depth: CM

Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar believes that there is no foul play into the death of Fr Bismarque Dias, but has told the police not to leave any stone unturned in the probe.
Addressing a press conference, he also opined that some social activists have blown the issue out of proportion for the reasons best known to them.
Parsekar however also assured that a trustworthy police officer, acceptable to the people, would be appointed to probe the death case of Fr Bismarque by the crime branch of Goa police.
CM claims that he was the first one to tell the police to investigate the murder angle as soon as he got the news since Fr Bismarque was a social activist and fighting several issues.
“However, when the police submitted a preliminary report, I was convinced there is no foul play. I still believe in it. But my impression could be wrong. That’s why I have told the police to probe the case from all the angles”, said Parsekar.
The preliminary report of the police had stated that Fr Bismarque died due to drowning and both the post-mortem reports had stated that the injury marks on his body were due to aquatic creatures, after the death.
CM said the picture would be clearer when viscera report comes, but that would take at least a fortnight.
He thus felt that people should have little patience to get all the facts in hand.
“I also have no problem in handing over the case to the CBI, but let the crime branch first investigate into it. We need to give them some time”, said Parsekar.
Though agreed with the demand of probing the murder angle, the chief minister however did not agree with some social activists defying section 144 and damaging Goa’s image internationally during IFFI.
He also dismissed the allegation that the police manhandled some activists while arresting them.
“If you are defying section 144, then you should also be prepared to spend few hours in the lock up, knowing its consequences. Why call up MLAs and ministers after getting arrested”, he asked.
Following IFFI, Parsekar said some activists are now talking about having similar protest during ISL football matches.
“This is going too far when I am taking all the efforts to have a fair investigation into the matter”, felt the chief minister.
Mr Parsekar, if you see your face in the mirror, you see a monster in the mirror. How can you say there is NO foul play in Fr. death. it's a premeditated MURDER and you are indirectly connected to it. It 's the work of the CORRUPT builders and Goan Politicians and the Goan STRAY dogs in KHAKI are destroying the evidences .
How can you say ,that there is NO foul play when the people found Fr. Bismarque' VEST with blood stain. Goans are united and will give justice to Fr. Bismarque and will PUNISH the criminals.

Goan people are good for coming to conclusions in the absence of facts. Even some so-called doctors, etc. who have studied science and reasoning also demonstrated this kind of emotional behavior pretty regularly.
