Goa Lit Fest to release 15 books
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 02 December 2014 22:59 ISTThe fifth edition of the Goa Art and Literary Festival, beginning from 4 December, will witness launching of 15 new books, beginning with a launch of a Konkani book at the inaugural ceremony.
‘Forest Saga,’ an English translation of renowned Konkani novelist Mahabaleshwar Sail’s ‘Aranyakand’, translated by Vidya Pai, would be released by Goa’s veteran writer Padmashree Dr Suresh Amonkar.
The inaugural, beginning at 5.30 pm at Maquinez Palace in Panaji, will be graced by Mini Krishnan, the editor-translations of the Oxford University Press (India), who has published the book.
