ECONOMIC TIMES, MUMBAI | 03 July 2016 14:12 ISTOn January 20, 1967, the Times of India (ToI) reported on how in the village of Loutolim in central Goa, most men had worn a rather fuzzy look for the past few days.
In a referendum, which had concluded some days before, on whether Goa should merge with Maharashtra, most villagers were strongly against the merger, but the local barber was strongly for it.
