4 Youth Congmen expelled for Churchill's campaign

The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) has suspended four of its office bearers in Goa for alleged anti-party activities ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

The suspensions were issued after Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) officials yesterday complained to the high command about the alleged anti-party activities by Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (GPYCC) office bearers in South Goa.

The letter faxed to the party headquarters in Goa has mentioned that four Youth Congress leaders of Navelim block – Natasha Viegas, Wilson Miranda, Ashfaq Sayyed and Joslino Paixodo - were placed under immediate suspension.

These office bearers were found campaigning for Churchill Alemao, a former Congressman who had recently quit the party to contest on Trinamool Congress party ticket in South Goa, sources said.

GPCC president John Fernandes said attempts were also made to get back GPYCC president Valanka Alemao, the daughter of Churchill Alemao, who has excused herself from campaigning in the state.

Valanka is currently in Delhi campaigning for the party.

"I have written to the party asking them to call Valanka back in the state and she should address campaign in both the constituencies of Goa," he added.

It is amazing what corrupted & looted money by the dirty Alemao family can do.

The desperation of this family, to hold & obtain power by any means is truly shocking.

Valanka Alemao`s only success as the GYPC President, is to recruit young, gullible and easily manipulated youngsters into the Congress Party.

She has no other redeemable feature to her credibility.

It is quite shocking that Valanka has not stood on her own 2feet ...but instead to, chooses to be "molly cuddled" by her father.
