He lived a very simple life, a life with religious thoughts. He always gave a good morale to the society in his talents. We will remember him always as he was one of the personalities who worked to keep Drama’s along with our Mother tongue “Konkani” alive.

Indeed, Goa has lost one of the tallest stalwarts of the Konkani Stage! Apart from being a melodious singer, he was an amazing actor, an enlightened Playwright and an able Director. His contributions to the cause of Konkani has been immense. In all his songs or Tiatr's, there was an underlining message, which served to educate people on morals, good behaviour, simple lifestyle and above all the need to love one's motherland and mother tongue. He was a great personality, whose class very few could match. No wonder he served the Konkani Stage with distinction till the very last years of his being alive. He has left behind a rich legacy of his talents for each one of us to emulate and carry forward.

I had the highest admiration for our beloved Remmie Colaco! He was one actor who would give his best in any role that he played, be it in Films, Tiatrs or Musical Shows. I am sure God has been very kind to him and has blessed him with a long life which has now come to an end. And I am sure he would have had no regrets to leave this world, with his foot-prints firmly engraved on the sands of time. Men like Remmie come in this world but once, play their role and then leave, making a mark, which helps people like us to keep them in our memory forever.

While bidding farewell to our revered Remmie Colaco, I pray God grants his soul eternal rest in his heavenly abode.

Deep condolences to his bereaved family members. May God give them the fortitude to bear the irrepairable loss.

May his soul rest in eternal peace!
