It’s height! Govt hides 83% fresh Covid cases, apathy continues

This is the height of apathy and insensitivity. Today’s Covid bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services has hidden 90 percent Covid19 positive cases of the day. It simply does not specify which health centre they are found. Out of 374 cases, only 62 are traced.

The DHS seems to be pleased to hide the locations of 312 fresh Covid19 cases, though it provides the figure of existing active cases at all the 33 health centres.

The table shown below is the naked proof. The rise in Covid19 cases is shown only at nine health centres. The rest 24 centres show decline in Covid19 cases. 

Among these nine centres, only three centres are showing double digit rise: Mapusa 15,Cansarvarne 12 and 10 at Porvorim centre. 

There are seven more cases at Margao and Aldona, six at Cortalim, three at Navelim and two at Dharbandora. 

Not less than 13 centres are showing Covid19 cases reducing between 10 to 24.

In spite of goanews.com consistently writing about this goof up and Health Minister Vishwajit Rane assuring to set it right, the hide and seek game continues, for the best reasons known to the authorities.
