Vijai ropes in Radharao to get Babush’s to-be UGDP against BJP

After he failed to get all the Congress leaders together, independent MLA Vijai Sardesai has now joined hands with UGDP leader Radharao Gracias.

In a joint press conference today, both the leaders said they would bring all the forces together to defeat the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.

“We want a straight fight. Now it is up to the Congress to decide what they want to do”, said Gracias.

He  does  not mind joining hands also with the Congress, in order to defeat the BJP.

“People have taught a lesson to the Congress in last election. Now they should realise where they stand and come and join hands with us”, says the UGDP leader.

Vijai is also still harping on uniting the anti-BJP forces in Goa.

United Goans Democratic Party however in the past has joined hands with the BJP to oppose the Congress.

“If Congress does not come with us in our united effort, we will defeat both the BJP and the Congress”, claimed Gracias.

He also vouched for St Cruz MLA Babush Monseratte, who plans to take over the UGDP.

Monseratte, few days ago, had supported the idea of alliance while stating that he does not know with whom he would align.

“Of course Babush is anti-BJP. Otherwise why would he field candidates in Panaji in CCP election to defeat the BJP”, asked Gracias.

Gracias also disclosed that the process of bringing together everybody has started few days ago with even Congress MLA Alex Reginald Lourenco part of it.

In a joint press conference, both Vijai and Gracias today criticised the BJP government for petrol hike as well as its U turn on the casino issue.

No wonder the BJP has let us down, and that too in a big way and therefore need to be done away with in Goa, however, don't you think all these challengers (whoever it is) should contest the next elections to give Goa and Goans a better future, instead of "defeating the BJP or Congress". This mindset has already lost half the election for the new forces. By portraying that their sole aim is to defeat the BJP or Congress doesn't speak positively of the new forces..... Daal mein kuch kala hai !!!!

Now, on another note one wonders whether Radha or Vijai are trying take over from the collosal Churchill about "kiteim kortolom jikpa khatir". I would have liked Vijai 'GO FORWARD', by positive and intelligent means, instead of BJP/CONG bashing, which only tries to portray the fear that they have about these ever betraying parties.

Tiatrists were known to baptize themselves with self given titles, now it looks like, our politicians want to compete with Tiatrists, Any guess who will be the "William de Curtorim" of Goan Politics??????
