Kantarist Anthony arrested for brutally killing his wife

Anthony Joe Fernandes, writing Kantaram for Tiatr, was arrested by Madgao police today for brutally killing his wife Fiona and burning down her body at Moti Dongor.
The police moved into action after his married daughter identified the burnt out body of her mother today evening.
50-year old Anthony, working as a driver and living at Moti Dongor, stabbed Fiona to death yesterday afternoon at 3 pm, staked her body into a suitcase and burnt it down adjacent to the T B hospital at 2 am today.
Fiona, 46, working abroad for the last 10 years, was down in Goa a week ago.
South Goa SP Shekhar Prabhudesai told goanews.com that Anthony has admitted the crime, stating that he killed her due to illicit relation she was having abroad while working.
The killer has also admitted that both of them were having squabbles over the issue for the last six years now, which erupted once again when she was down to Goa.
The police found the body when a hospital sweeper informed the police about the smoke today early morning.
Meanwhile, her daughter became suspicious since the mother was not lifting her phone while father was not giving satisfactory replies about her whereabouts.
Anthony also informed the police that he lost his temper as she was not behaving properly during her recent Goa visit.
