A 34-year-old Russian lady, whose nine year old daughter was allegedly raped at Arambol beach on 26 January evening, has said that the crime was -pre-planned.

"My husband left for Moscow on 25 January. Since that morning, the accused saw me alone and were trying to get too friendly with me. I was not comfortable with it," the lady, who is a doctor by occupation, told PTI in an interview.
Goa police had registered case of rape against unidentified person, who allegedly took the victim in the water and raped her. Accused's accomplice kept the mother busy in the conversation while crime was being committed, the complaint at Pernem police station reads.

I feel that Goa is a Safe Place for Criminals. Even if someone does any criminal activities and has been caught, he shall be released much faster than he is caught. All criminals are set free in Goa sooner or later.

Would Goa police declare how many women related cases have been solved by them? A guy like Mahanand could continue to kill 16 innocent girls, with FIRs lodged in some cases, but police are practically useless to solve any crime.

Goa police are going from bad to worse
