BJP destroyed 85% Goa, alleges AAP, poses 5 unfulfilled promises
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 10 March 2016 21:14 ISTSoon after Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party has also come down on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s claim of having fulfilled 85% election promises.
It has also threatened to greet the BJP ministers and MLAs with black flags when they go to their constituencies, distributing pamphlets.
In a press note issued in this regard, AAP Goa secretary Valmiki Naik has posed five major promises, which the BJP has not fulfilled:
What happened to zero tolerance to corruption and the Lokayukta?
What happened to the action against illegal mining and recovery of Rs 35,000 crore?
What happened to the Regional Plan?
What happened to jobs and opportunities in Goa?
What happened to the casinos that were to be expelled out of River Mandovi?
Stating that 1st April is still few days away to pull such pranks on the people, Naik also alleged that the BJP has in fact destroyed 85% of Goa.
“From coconut tree to the national bird, nothing has been spared by the BJP-led government in implementing its destructive policies to fulfil," he said.
The AAP also wondered if the BJP was referring to the promises made to their party donors and capitalist cronies, which they have fulfilled.
Terming the BJP’s claim as a cruel joke played on the people of Goa, Naik observed that the derogatory term ‘U turn Chief Minister’ has followed defence minister Manohar Parrikar even to New Delhi.
If 85% of the manifesto is complete, he has asked why the BJP has removed the document from its own website.
“The BJP should come clean and upload the document back on its website with an analysis of how it came up with the incredible figure of 85% completion”, said AAP.
