Maha CM Fadanvis on a hit list of Sanatan: Shyam Manav
GOANEWS DESK, PANAJI | 19 October 2015 17:48 ISTShyam Manav, one of the leaders of rationalist movement in Maharashtra, has claimed that Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadanvis is also on the hit list of Sanatan Sanstha.
Quite a few Marathi newspapers have today flashed the news, quoting Manav’s press conference held at Government Rest House at Nasik.
Manav however has not been quoted giving reasons behind Sanatan targeting Fadanvis.
He had earlier alleged that Sanatan had killed Dr Narendra Dabholkar, the president of Andhshradha Nirmulan Samiti.
“My allegation has been proved right when Com Govind Pansare and M M Kalburgi also were killed with a similar modus operandi”, he said.
Maharashtra police have arrested Sameer Gaikwad, a Sanatan Sadhak, as a major suspect in Pansare murder case.
According to Manav, Sanatan leader Dr Jayant Athawale is creating human robots in his organisation by using his skill of hypnotism.
They are told that politicians, police, judiciary etc are Durjan (devils) and killing them is a necessary holy act in order to bring back God’s rule (Ishwari Rajya).
With the same mission, in a hypnotised state, the Sanatan Sadhak have also been killing rationalists, said Manav, the national secretary of All India Committee for Eradication of Superstition.
Loksatta, a Marathi daily of Indian Express Group, is one of the leading newspapers that has also published the news online.
One of the comments made on the news reads as follows:
“You are destroying Hindu religion under the pretext of superstition. There is nothing wrong if they want to destroy self-proclaimed xxxxx progressive people. Dabholkar, Kalburgi, Pansare were enjoying humiliating of Hindu deities. Why do you regret if they died?”
