Sriram Sene, a right wing outfit, threatened to destroy the houses of poet Chennaveera Kanavi and writer Giraddi Govindaraj if the duo failed to provide substantial evidence to prove their allegation of Sriram Sene’s involvement in the M.M. Kalburgi murder case.
Addressing a media conference at Reporters' Guild here on Saturday, Manjunath Bavi, district president of the outfit, said that Chennaveera Kanavi, Giraddi Govindaraja and the Swamiji of Tontadarya Math of Gadag, who led 138 rationalists in the recent protest in Dharwad against the murder of Kalburgi, had submitted a memorandum to the Assistant Commissioner of Dharwad alleging the involvement of Sriram Sene in the murder.

Liberals and sane people should be careful while leveling allegations against these groups. Similarly, This Ram Sena should seek legal options for damages and not try taking law into their hands.
