Alemaos-Ravis get a bashing, but not Ranes-Monserattes-Dhawalikars

All the four Alemaos and both Ravi Naiks were thrown out by the electorate, but elected both Ranes and both Monserattes of the Congress besides both Dhawalikars and Pandurang Madkaikar.
The wave against the Family Raj thus worked partially in the election.
Churchill Alemao, his brother Joaquim, daughter Valnka of the Congress as well as Joaquim’s son Yuri of the NCP were defeated in Navelim, Cuncolim, Benaulim and Sanguem respectively.
Independent candidate Avertano Furtado defeated Churchill.
Joaquim was defeated by BJP candidate Rajan Naik.
Valanka got a bashing from GVP’s Caetan Silva.
Yuri was defeated by BJP’s Subhash Faldesai.
Similrly, Ravi Naik was defeated by MGP’s Lavoo Mamledar.
He is the first retired police officer to get elected, while defeating the home minister.
Ravi’s son Ritesh was defeated by MGP’s sitting MLA Sudin Dhawalikar in Madkai.
Sudin’s brother Dipak, again the sitting MGP MLA, defeated Dhaku Madkaikar of the Congress in Priol.
Both Pratpasing and Vishwajeet Rane however got re-elected on Congress tickets in Poriem and Valpoi respectively.
Similarly Babush and his wife Jennifer Monseratte were elected on Congress tickets in St Cruz and Taleigao respectively.
Yet another family of mine owner Salgaoncars – Arjun as an independent in Sanvordem and Sameer as Trinamool Congress in Mandrem were also defeated.
Their father was the independent MLA of Sanvordem in the last Assembly.

It is the win of goa and each Goenkar who has voted for the change.
This is the real win of democracy.
If the youth of goa is like this than we will soon see the real golden goa.

we all know that now BJP is form govt in goa.my request is all to parrikar that dont spoil our goa.because we elected you so do good for your people who elected you.dont play for our emotion n dont tried to bring marathi in goa.because our mai bas is konkani n it will stay forever.
look for poor people to good for them in future n save our goa.
