Dear "Goa for Goans",

There is a UNESCO report published on importance of mother-tongue based schooling, which Mr Parrikar is refering to. You can google on that.

well Said Jagan-Canada.Maybe they could start by removing the cob-webs from the SKYBUS project.Goan roads are now choked with traffic and pollution is increasing day by day.

N.Fernandes , London

Dear Parrikarbab. Could you provide reference or explain what is ‘Universal scientific principle of primary education in mother tongue’. I conducted extensive search on this term today and could not find appropriate explanation. I hope you are not fooling Goan public with your IITian background.

Goa for Goans , Goa

Instead of proposing to subsidize petrol and thus encourage use and buying of 2 and 4-wheelers, BJP should propose to improve the rotting public transportation system in Goa. Improve the quality of roads, buses, promote water and railways such that people will be encouraged to keep their personal vehicles at home reducing pollution, wastage of foreign currency on oil imports, and also cause less accidents on road!!
